Chapter 5

Jaron and Loria were cuddling each other while watching the gleaming pink sky through the window. They were on a sky ship, on it’s way to raid the stolen Tyrony. There were all sorts of people behind them, about 13 of them. They commented on how much Loria and Jaron looked so much like Salra and Vanus and how they would become such a powerful King and Queen. Zana then came along and moved them all away. He stayed and stared at Jaron and Loria for a bit, then he picked up a little box next to him and walked to a couch. When he sat down, he started to eat the snack-sized cheeseburger inside.
Around the large room there were all sorts of people who were eating burgers or hot-dogs. Some of them were drinking and others weren’t doing either. Yatri was standing near a small window and sorting through her ‘medi-pack’.
A gang of 7 Bannons and a Tyron were watching the news. The female newsreader was wearing pink.    “Thankyou Shan, finally tonight’s top story: Armies under the control of Kane have set off about an hour ago to raid Tyrony. 19 years ago Tyrony had suspiciously lost  contact with the Tellen council, all means of reattempting communication had failed. We now know that the Tyrons have been serving as slaves to the Catlans, the raid will hopefully”-the newsreader chuckled-“sorry viewers, I should’ve said definitely, take back the raided country.”
“I’ve noticed that there’s something about the Wayans that bothers  you Loria,” said Jaron.
“Their baggy suits,” Loria said simply, Jaron raised an eyebrow. “Some girls wear trousers that flare out and most of them wear what they call jogging-bottoms.  They also love to wear these gym-suits and tie-up shirts. I mean really, where’s their sense of fashion?” Jaron was laughing, she also noticed him staring at her in a way. They were then kissing.
Blue lights then flashed and a computered voice shouted: “Raiding Positions! Raiding Positions!” Everyone stood up looking around and some people ran across the room to some doors. Zana then stood round the corner.
“Hurry up ‘Love Prince’! You wanna miss your parents’ funeral?” called Zana.
Jaron looked back at Loria. “You’d better get to your squad.” He said quietly, then smiled. Then he turned and jogged towards Zana. Together, the two headed for the stairs.

They stood on the launch pad with the Tyron squad behind them, making checks.
“Oh jees! I left my handcuffs behind,” one Tyron called out, then he rushed down the stairs.
    Zana turned to Jaron. “Nervous?”
“No, I’m thinking about what’ll happen after the raid’s over,” Jaron answered.
“We give the Tyrons the best food, make sure they sleep in a warm bed tonight and then you help them clear up the place,” told Zana.
“I hear ya, then about a month later I marry Loria,” told Jaron.
    Zana smiled. “So you’ve proposed?”
“No, I’m going to after we take back Tyrony,” the prince said.
Zana laughed out loud. “You make weird plans Jaron!” Then he looked and felt sad. “Just like Vanus.”
When a green light lit up, they flapped their wings and took off.
“We’re avenging him right?” Jaron called after a little while. “So don’t feel too bad!”
The pair flew quite fast for a while, Jaron then looked behind him to see if the winged-squad were behind them. He could see about 7 pairs of shadowed wings.

Loria stood in the shuttle-bay, seeing people sit themselves in little planes that could fit up to 5 Taklans each. A harness was lowering the hovercraft of Bannons, ready to release. Loria walked to a platform and noticed some Taklans weren’t in shuttles yet.
“May I have your attention please!” The chatter quietened down. “I believe I have the privilege of having a big squad: 29 shuttles full. These are the basic orders, attack from the shuttles for a few minutes, then fight on the ground. You can pick any street you want, but as soon as you’ve apprehended one street don’t stop, go to another one.”
“Most of our laser rifles are set to stun princess,” someone called out.
“Thankyou, let’s do this!” A huge cheer went up and everyone got  into the shuttles.  Loria seated herself in the shuttle in the front, on the front seat.

Zana and Jaron were nearing the palace, the Tyron squad behind them could clearly  see the hovercraft underneath them.
“When the Catlans fire, I’ll take the over-left and you take the right!” Jaron called.
“Yes your highness!” was Zana’s answer.
The Catlans spotted them nearing the palace and everyone started to scatter to each of the laser cannons. The first laser was fired and missed the Tyrons. More lasers fired, one hit the lookout tower.
Jaron noticed that the lasers were following him and he grinned. “Let’s see how dumb you really are.” Jaron flew in a figure of 8 and the lasers also outlined a figure of 8. He then flew towards a huge window and saw a Catlan princess talking to a blonde Tyron without a dented wing. He looked like... “Rida?”

Rida looked at the blade he was given.
“If me or either of my parents are killed, you kill the killer.”
    “But why Dira?” asked Rida.
“You are not supposed to question us!” Dira snapped.
A laser shot shattered the window and was shot across the room to the Catlan flag. (The Catlan flag has a silver cat face on a dark, purple background.) The flag caught fire.
Rida immediately flew up and flapped very fast. Dira ran to the shattered window and shouted: “WATCH WHERE YOU’RE SHOOTING!” When she turned round the flag was black on the top and Rida was standing near the door.
“Come on.” Dira took his hand and rushed him out of the room.

Loria looked at the streets ahead of them, then looked at her Ice Blade. “Catlans would lose their balance easily on ice,” she thought, then she switched on the speaker.
“Slight change of plan everybody,” she said. “First I’ll fly over many streets, icing them. When I give the signal, you attack. Clear?”
Lots of voices saying “Yes princess”, “Gotcha” and “Loud and Clear” were heard. Loria then switched it off.
